01 — Structure
Corporate Structure & Scope
Crafters Corporation ("we," "us," "our," or "the Corporation") is the parent organization that holds and coordinates two operating divisions: Crafters Development, our software engineering division building free, open-source Minecraft server plugins, and CraftConfig Studio, our configuration, translation, and optimization studio offering paid, bespoke services to Minecraft server owners.
This Privacy Policy governs the parent-level touchpoints of our ecosystem: this website (crafterscorporation.pages.dev) and our general corporate communications. Because each subsidiary operates its own service with its own data practices, each also maintains its own, more detailed Privacy Policy governing the specific service it provides. Interacting directly with a subsidiary's service — installing a plugin, joining its Discord server, or commissioning paid work — makes that subsidiary's own policy apply to that interaction, in addition to this document.
Where this Policy and a subsidiary's policy address the same topic, the subsidiary's policy governs for matters specific to that subsidiary's service, and this Policy governs for matters concerning the Corporation as a whole.

02 — Direct Operations
Crafters Corporation as a Direct Data Controller
For the data processing activities described in Article 3 below — namely, standard hosting logs for this website and the aggregate Discord statistics shown on our homepage — Crafters Corporation acts as the data controller. We do not process this data on behalf of Crafters Development or CraftConfig Studio, and we do not share it with them. Each subsidiary independently determines its own data-processing purposes for its own service, as described in its own Privacy Policy referenced in Article 4.
Crafters Corporation is also directly responsible for the security and administration of our official corporate Discord server, distinct from the Discord servers operated independently by each subsidiary.

03 — What We Gather
Information We Collect Directly
Crafters Corporation does not operate a customer account system, a sign-up form, or a checkout flow on this website. The parent site is an informational hub, and the information we collect directly at this level is limited to:
- Standard hosting logs. Our website is served through Cloudflare Pages, which may log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) as part of ordinary static-site hosting and security protection. We do not access this data for marketing or profiling purposes.
- Public Discord presence data. Our homepage displays a live member/online count for our official Discord servers, retrieved from Discord's public widget API. This only reflects aggregate, publicly available server statistics — it does not identify you individually.
- Voluntary contact. If you reach out to us directly (for example, through Discord), we receive whatever information you choose to share as part of that conversation.
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell or rent any information to third parties.

04 — Subsidiaries
How Our Subsidiaries Handle Your Data
Crafters Development
Crafters Development's plugins (CraftersLogin, CraftersStaff, CraftersBan, and CraftersAnticheat) are free and open-source by default, distributed through Modrinth, SpigotMC, and Hangar. Data associated with using these plugins is processed by the server owners who install them, on their own infrastructure — Crafters Development does not operate a centralized player database. Community interaction (bug reports, telemetry submissions, and optimization suggestions credited in our release notes) takes place through our official Discord server, where standard Discord identifiers (User ID, username) are visible to us as with any Discord community. For the complete, authoritative description of these practices, refer to Crafters Development's own Privacy Policy.
CraftConfig Studio
CraftConfig Studio provides paid, commissioned configuration, translation, and optimization work, coordinated entirely through its official Discord server and ticket system. In the course of delivering a commissioned service, CraftConfig Studio may collect Discord identifiers, technical details about your server and software, screenshots or error logs you voluntarily share, the configuration or language files you submit for work, and transactional metadata related to payment through PayPal (never sensitive payment credentials themselves, which are handled exclusively by PayPal). CraftConfig Studio treats client files under a strict confidentiality standard and retains delivered-file backups only for the duration of the applicable post-delivery warranty period. For the complete, authoritative description of these practices — including data retention timelines and your right to request deletion — refer to CraftConfig Studio's own Privacy Policy.

05 — Why We Process
Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable data protection law requires a documented legal basis for processing personal information, Crafters Corporation and its subsidiaries rely on one or more of the following, as relevant to the specific processing activity:
- Consent — for example, when you voluntarily join a Discord server we operate or submit a support request;
- Performance of a contract — for example, delivering a commissioned service you purchased from CraftConfig Studio;
- Legitimate interests — such as operating, securing, and improving our ecosystem, provided those interests are not overridden by your own rights and interests; and
- Compliance with a legal obligation, where applicable.

06 — External Providers
Third-Party Services
Depending on which part of our ecosystem you interact with, the following third-party services may process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare Pages — static hosting for all of our websites (Crafters Corporation, Crafters Development, and CraftConfig Studio).
- Discord — community, support-ticket, and order-communication infrastructure across the entire ecosystem.
- Modrinth, SpigotMC, and Hangar — third-party distribution platforms for Crafters Development's free plugins, each governed by its own privacy policy for download and usage statistics.
- PayPal — the exclusive payment processor used by CraftConfig Studio for paid services. Crafters Corporation and Crafters Development do not process payments, as their software is free by default.
We encourage you to review the respective privacy policies of any third-party service you interact with as part of using our ecosystem.

07 — Protecting Your Data
Data Security Measures
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information within our control against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include restricting access to client files and payment metadata to authorized staff only, relying on reputable third-party infrastructure providers — Cloudflare, Discord, and PayPal — that maintain their own industry-standard security practices, and limiting the retention of sensitive information to the periods described in Article 9.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. However, we are committed to promptly investigating and addressing any identified vulnerability affecting information within our control.

08 — Cross-Border Data
International Data Transfers
Crafters Corporation and its subsidiaries operate internationally, and the third-party infrastructure providers we rely on — including Cloudflare, Discord, and PayPal — may process and store information in countries other than your own. By using our services, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, and processed in, jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than those of your country of residence.

09 — Retention
Data Retention
At the corporate level, we do not retain personal data beyond standard hosting logs, which are subject to Cloudflare's own retention practices, and any direct correspondence you initiate with us, which we retain only as long as reasonably necessary to address your inquiry. Retention practices specific to a commissioned service or an installed plugin are governed by the relevant subsidiary's own Privacy Policy, linked in Article 4 above.

10 — If Something Goes Wrong
Data Breach Notification
In the event that we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information in a manner that creates a real risk of harm, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users without undue delay, through the most appropriate channel available to us — typically our official Discord server or a direct message — and in a manner consistent with applicable law.

11 — Your Rights
Your Rights
Regardless of which part of our ecosystem you have interacted with, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we or our subsidiaries hold about you. To exercise this right:
We aim to acknowledge and act on privacy-related requests within a reasonable timeframe once your identity as the relevant user has been reasonably confirmed.

12 — Age Restrictions
Children's Privacy
Our services, across every division of Crafters Corporation, are intended for users who meet the minimum legal age of digital consent required by their country of residence. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a minor without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided us with personal information without authorization should contact us through the appropriate Discord server listed in Article 11.

13 — Updates
Changes to This Policy
Crafters Corporation may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our structure, services, or applicable law. The "Last Revised" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of this website after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. Material changes affecting a specific subsidiary's data practices will be reflected in that subsidiary's own policy.
